I've got most of my personal info on my Faves site, so here's some art-related stuff about me!

I started off my pixel art journey in the early 2000s with making Dollz in drag-and-drop makers, and eventually I got the idea to edit their colors in Photoshop. (I had learned Photoshop earlier when my mom got it for her college classes.)

I uploaded my first (tooled) pixel doll to deviantART on February 26^th, 2005. I don't remember how long it took me to make it, but I'd guess maybe a couple of hours? I know I'd been admiring pixel dolls for quite a while before attempting to make my own using a base; I have no idea how long at this point, though. ^^;

I honestly can't remember how I found the pixel art community, or even whose site I found first, but I was quite active on a few forums over the years! The names I remember are What The Muffin!?, Corrupted Carousel, Tequila Sunrise, Fairytopia, Belle Aerie, Pixel Empire, and GLAM!

Even though all my dolls/pixel art are on this site, here's my original dA account and my second account. (Only a couple of pieces on the second one, but still!)

You'll see my oldest pieces credited as "Gen-Chan" - I used to go by Gen (short for Genevieve) online back in the early 2000s! It's still me, don't worry!

About This Site

Ever since the early 2000s, I've wanted my very own pixel art site! It feels surreal to have one now! ;w;

Back then, I didn't know of any free site hosts, so I just stuck with deviantART. But now thanks to NeoCities, I have this! :D
