Sailor Moon

| Why I Love It: | It was the second anime I ever watched (the first was Voltron), before I even knew what anime was! As a kid, I loved the transformations, and that this group of girls were the ones defending the Earth, not a group of guys with maybe 1-2 token girls. These days, it's certainly got that nostalgia factor, but I still love it for the story and the crazy antics the girls get up to in their daily lives! Sure, there are some things that have not aged well (like diet culture), but in other things, it was ahead of its time! The LGBTQ+ representation was ground-breaking. |

| Headcanons: | Haruhi is non-binary; Haruhi can be with whoever they damn well please (which includes no one if that's what they want) |
| Why I Love It: | It takes sssooo many anime tropes and just pokes fun at them! It also has many heart-warming moments. <3 |
My Hero Academia

| Favorite Characters: | Izuku "Deku" Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, Tsuyu Asui, Shoto Todoroki |
| Favorite Ships: | Deku/Ochaco, polyam Deku/Ochaco/Tsu/Todoroki |
| Why I Love It: | I love super hero stuff (I'm also a big MCU fan), and this feels like a fresh take on the genre. The storyline is intricate, and to me at least, is rarely predictable. Much like with Sailor Moon, I love the juxtaposition of the super hero work with their daily school lives. |
